PHANTOM 111 - DYNAMO TO SCHEME 911 Referring to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}AG.5/M.13.9.37, it is not by any means certain that the above dynamo is ruled out by the introduction of the over-drive gearbox. In this country, it is certain that a great deal of running will be done on the low geared "direct", whilst in London it will be in regular use. I am not overlooking the later cutting in speed as considered in M.P.H., but as this only obtains on the overdrive it may still be worth while to consider the improved dynamo at an appropriate position in our programme.
