WRAITH ENGINE CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS.
-------------------------------------

We understand that drawing EB.3219 has been issued for the connecting rod bearings for the above engine showing the bearings in R.R.56 Aluminium Alloy.

In discussion with Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} it is agreed that the R.R.56 material for bearings is not now considered satisfactory and no further work is being done with this alloy as a bearing material.

Under the circumstances therefore, will you kindly arrange to alter material from R.R.56 to Hl's aluminium tin bearing alloy which we have given the symbol of A/T.

The particulars of heat treatment etc. should be exactly the same as the present standard Bentley Bearings.
