Y9940 Mr. D'Aeth. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ---------- BY10/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 2. Z. 25. ------------------ FRONT WHEEL BRAKES. RE BEARING INSIDE BRAKE DRUM. ---------------------------- It is most important that we should continue to make the above bearing one lined with "Magnolia" lead, that is, a high lead whitemetal. With reference to Dal/M.8.12.24, this does not take into account our experience. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is satisfied that the scheme we have been running, namely, a combination of a hardened end of a full diameter, that is, without having anything cut out from the bearing surfaces in forming the cams, running in a high percentage lead whitemetal is perfectly satisfactory, and is the only one which has not given us trouble.
