This magneto has recently, at the request of messrs Lucas, been modified. The only two apparent modifications from a preliminary examination are :- ① Bakelite moulded jump spark distributor and rotor which is interchangeable with the old type carbon brush wipe distributor. ② Tungsten contact points on the contact breaker with a slightly increased spring pressure on contact.
