Dear Sirs,

We are enclosing instruction sheets on the AAV-26 carburetor as used on the Buick, Cadillac, and Packard 1940 models. Up until this date we do not expect to make any change on the Buick 1941 model. However, on Cadillac and Packard we will change the main body to that of the present Buick, with the exception that the main discharge jet construction will have the single high speed bleeder channel instead of the double high speed bleeder channel as in the Buick carburetor.

In the Buick main body we have changed from the large main discharge jet plug to the small and instead of using pump tubes for discharging the acceleration charge, we have a cluster assembled in the main body so that it can be removed and cleaned out in the event that dirt lodges in the restriction. This construction also eliminates the service complaint of the pump siphoning over when dirt lodges in the valve which is immediately below the pump piston. We probably will not have any Packard or Cadillac 1941's available before July of this year, but in using the 1940 Buick carburetor you would have the latest construction.

We remain, etc...
