PHANTOM III. AND WRAITH III. PEDALS.

We find that there are small differences between the gas tight joints for the pedal stems for the Phantom III. and Wraith III. on the one hand and the 25/30 on the other. We have just brought the Bentley into line with the 25/30 as regards the clutch and brake pedals, (see N.Sch.5152), and it seems to us that there is no reason why all of the pedals on all of the cars should not have identical joints excepting for the felt washers. The pedal plate stems vary from .500 on Phantom III. and Wraith III. and .4375 on 25/30 and Bentley to .3125 for the accelerator pedals, and although the same felt may do for the .5 and .4375 sizes a special felt is no doubt necessary for the accelerator pedals.

We suggest, therefore, that as opportunity arises the Wraith and Phantom III. should be brought into agreement with the 25/30 and Bentley to N.Sch.5152.
