To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. c. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X8710 EFC3/T7.6.28. X1109 X8700 Further to our EFC3/T9.5.28 under cover of which we reported (PB24) results of some comparative tests of standard coil and condenser paper and samples of varnished and waxed papers obtained from Messrs. Symons, please find attached a further report PB.26 on further comparative tests of these papers including also comparative H.T. breakdown tests. From these tests we are of the opinion that it is worth while to go further experimentally with both the waxed and varnished paper from Messrs. Symons. We now suggest that some ignition coils particularly, and possible also condensers, be instructed to be built up with these papers. EFC. | ||
