X1263 To Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} (For Depot Sheet). Petrol Pumps. On all Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars the petrol pump design consists of two units. Either unit is capable of running the car up to about 70 M.P.H. Frequently a customer runs with one unit out of action and knows nothing about it until finally the second unit fails and then he is stranded. In view of this fact a routine check of both halves of the petrol pump should be carried out every time a car comes into the Depot, and a note made of the results obtained.
