X1135 To En. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.14/KW.14.6.35. We note in this week's issue of the "Autocar" (June 14th) that under the heading of "An Alvis Town Carriage" - (a description of the latest Crested Eagle series) there is mention of a cooling fan which is said to "damp out" (these words are quoted) at speeds above 60 m.p.h. in top gear. There is also a sketch of the fan. We should like you, if possible, to obtain particulars of the method of operation of this fan from the distributors - Charles Follet Ltd., and send us any information on the subject which you can obtain.
