I am handing you herewith a blueprint showing our proposals to modify the above scheme. We suggest turning the bolt round so that the head of the bolt is on the front side, and the nut on the rear, that is, the exact opposite to the present practice. In addition to this, we propose fitting a drain plug on the rear side, as shown on the sketch. The old plug position could then be cut off, and the hole plugged up. BY.{R.W.
