To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to OY. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X8510 Hsl/LG17.11.28. FAILURES OF PETROL SUPPLY. X3200 It will be necessary for us to make the proposed modification at once as the cars are on test. On experimental cars we always use a low grade fuel and for that reason have been entirely free from the trouble. The addition of the Zenith type filter slightly increases the trouble but the fault will occur without this filter. We should be better off on 'SS{S. Smith}' with the carb. on the other side as it is the exhaust heat which causes the trouble. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
