32-EX in France.

We have today received a telephone message from Paris saying that 32-EX has been damaged in an accident to such an extent that it will not be repairable in France. It has therefore been put on rail and returned to Derby.

As far as we can ascertain, the accident was caused due to the front spring of a 5-ton lorry breaking, thereby causing the vehicle to charge across the road into 32-EX.
