On PL.369 (original attached to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's. copy of this memo.) we shew the minimum size for the rear wheel arches of Myth. They have been set out with 5.5 section tyres on 16.000 rims, which tyres it is proposed to use on the 2.8 litre and 2.000 litre models. Using our established minimum clearances we appear to achieve a rear cushion widh of 41.500" with a rear track of 51.500 ins. On the smaller 8 H.P. and 10 H.P. models of Myth it is proposed to use 5.000 in. section tyres on 16.000" rims and these are shewn also on PL.369. If special wheelarches were made for each case, it will be seen that .700 in. could be gained on the width of the rear seat cushion with the smaller section tyres, but we feel that it will not be thought worth while to do this. Likewise we presume that the wing outer valances will be made common, although there is not a great difficulty in having a separate trimming pattern for each case. We shall shortly send you a similar layout for the front wheels. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Original to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.
