To Sft.{Mr Swift} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} LV. SECRET +340 E.5/HP.13.5.35. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Radiator. We are re-designing the SpectreCodename for Phantom III radiator to equip it with thermostatically operated shutters, instead of the grille hitherto fitted, and while we are on the job we should like to know your views with regard to outside finish, that is to say, the relative advantages and disadvantages from your end of a chromium plated brass shell, compared with a polished stainless shell. The shell, be it noted, in the case of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III is purely an ornamental covering and does not have to hold water. [Signature] E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
