20th September, 1940.

F.O. HICKLING, Esq.,
Messrs. Ransome & Marles Bearing Co.,
NEWARK-on-TRENT.

Dear Mr. Hickling,

During our spare time ruminations on car work, it has occurred to us that our clutch thrust bearing arrangement will be due for simplification when the present national job has been completed.

We would like to use bearings similar to the New Departure type CT.30-34 in sizes 1.500 and 1.750 bore. Will you please let us know whether you make or anticipate making bearings of this type.

I hope no bombs have been dropped near you.

Yours sincerely,
