Dear Sirs,

Reference: Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}9/NJ.16.11.26.

We acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 16th instant.

With reference to the E.H.T. No.2 valve of which we gave you particulars in our letter of the (12th November), we regret that as this valve is still in the experimental stages, we cannot give you a definite quotation.

We would, however, be pleased to supply you with one of these valves on an experimental basis, and if you found this satisfactory for your purpose, and you decided to retain it, this could be charged out later. We anticipate that the list price of this valve would be approximately six guineas.(£6.6.0.)

With reference to the value given for the fixed resistance, we regret that owing to an error this was given as 1.2 ohms instead of 0.12 ohms, the latter of which is, of course, correct.

Should you desire to take advantage of our offer, we shall be pleased to produce one of these valves on the basis outlined above, and could deliver in about 3 weeks from receipt of your order.

Yours faithfully,
THE GENERAL ELECTRIC CO.LTD.,

(Sgd) F.E.Henderson.
