Dear Mr. Robotham, Further to our letter to you of the 16th. ult., and with particular reference to the last paragraph of this letter in which we promised to despatch 8 - 4 ply 7.50/16 Silent Tyres and 12 - 4 ply 7.00/16 Silent Tyres during the week-commencing 25th. November. We are sorry that owing to a serious breakdown to an important unit of our tyre manufacturing plant and the consequent reduction in output, we have found it impossible to keep this promise to you. We expect that the repair to the unit referred to above will be completed either by the end of this week or the beginning of next week, and we shall therefore be back to our normal output during next week.
