Referring to the improved method of spoking a Dunlop Wheel by which we eliminate the bend at the inner end of the spoke, we have been discussing this question, through Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}, with the Dunlop Company, and in their letter of the 20th. inst. they state that "to the best of their belief, they will be able to send you a set of wheels on the new principle, in about three weeks time. The result seems to promise that in these wheels there will be no bend in any of the spokes".

I consider that the above is a very desirable change and although I have told the Dunlop Company that they must not introduce it until they have our permission, it would appear that we should give this matter very special attention in the Experimental Dept. as soon as the set of wheels referred to become available.
