(2) BJ. Copy to:- PN. {Mr Northey} C. decided to standardise this fitting, which is considered very desirable, it is thought that a plain black rectangular frame will be more in keeping with the type of indicator than an oval shape. With a 50% mixture of Benzol and petrol the engine did not pink at all. The effect of the increase in compression was most marked on the acceleration and hill climbing of this car, which was a most delightful car to drive. I was unable to observe any increase in the various vibration periods etc, which could be attributed to the additional compression and consider we might gradually work towards an increased ratio on our standard engine.
