The dynamo was next mounted normally on its rig and run (open-circuited) at such a speed that it maintained itself at a temperature of 75°c (ambient temp'r 20°c), by thermometer.
This speed was found to be 1050 rpm, when the main volts were, 28; the field volts, 18; field amps, 5.3; field ohms, 3.4; & field temperature by resistance 96.5°c.
The ambient temperature was 20°c.
The cold field resistance is taken as 2.6 w at 18°c.
