For the attention of Mr. Harris.

Dear Sirs,

Large Capacity Pump.

With reference to your letter and 'phone conversation of yesterday.

The writer cannot find any trace of the drawings which you stated to be enclosed with your letter. Under the circumstances we are handing to your man this afternoon two more prints. As you will see, the measurements on these prints are only those of the actual casting and not the component parts.

Actually we have none of the other measurements and think therefore that it will be best for you to retrace these drawings, filling in all other measurements which you require, as they will not affect our design.

I am sorry for this loss of time, but unfortunately I was only handed the letter and never saw the enclosed blue prints.

We are also handing to your man one more casting which will you please complete. We will in the meantime instruct our official order.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
