To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 3½-Litre Bentley. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/B27.6.33

I am in receipt of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/MJ.22.6.33, enclosing cutting from a paper called "Brooklands" and also referring to your meeting with Sir Stanley White and his son.

I am afraid, as you say, that quite a number of young enthusiasts will be disappointed when they learn that we are not making something suitable for racing.

I was interested to read the extract from the paper called "Brooklands" and quite realise that, once you go down to the track, it is very difficult to keep anything very secret.

With regard to the title, the Rolls-Bentley, I am afraid we are going to have a bit of difficulty about this as it is one which we feel we ought to keep away from, but the difficulty is that one cannot xxx actually control what other people do outside.
