rebound, and it is to prevent this being done that we fit the relief valve you mention. You are of course quite correct in saying that you cannot adjust the Shock Absorbers so as to have an equal braking effort both ways, as not only is there a relief valve, but the valves in the differential chamber of the Shock Absorber are adjusted quite different to each other, the one controlling the compression or upward movement of the spring offering very much less resistance.
We may say that the great feature of the Triou Shock Absorber is that the braking effort is progressive according to the shock received, and there is different adjustment for the compression and the rebound.
We enclose herewith some particulars of the Triou, also a leaflet we send out for the fitting of this instrument.
