Phantom III.

Needle Bearing on top of Steering Column.

The condition of theinner and outer sleeves of the steering column needle bearing of 31-EX which ran 15,000 miles was 100%. From this result it would not appear necessary to have the surface hardened for the 50 cars to which it is proposed to fit this bearing.
