Query about correct engine running temperature, a potential misprint in a handbook regarding a Calorstat, and a missing drawing.

correct running temperature is as low as 78°C, especially as the handbook states 85°C, which you say necessitates the development of a new type of Calorstat. I assume however this is a misprint and should be amended?

You omitted to attach the drawing to which you refer; but, from the description, this seems to be an adjustment I have already looked into without result as the
