RE WINDSCREEN DEFROSTERS.

Our attention has been called to the description of a Windscreen Defroster Patent given in 'The Commercial Motor' January 6th. 1940.

The scheme consists of a heater on the dash fitted in the radiator water system with hot air ducts in the scuttle capping blowing heated air onto the screen.

This is the scheme which we have fitted up on a number of our experimental cars including that used by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}

The Patentee is Clayton Dewandre Co. Ltd. of Titanic Works Lincoln acting as the assignee of Robert Bosch A.G. Germany. The patent number is 514566.

We would be glad if you could obtain for us a copy of this patent so that we can see the date and study the claims. We are surprised to see a patent on this subject since it has been used on American cars for several years.
