Altered Clutch on the 20/25.

21-G-IV will be passing through London at the end of next week, having completed 15,000 miles on the new type of clutch which we are proposing to standardise.

We consider that this clutch is an average of what we may expect on production with regard to smoothness of take-up.

As we understand from Cricklewood that there have been some complaints of jaggering clutches, we should like some of the officials who have to deal with these complaints, such as Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}, Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager}, and JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager}, to have the opportunity of trying this car before it comes back to Derby.

At the same time, B-4 is fitted with an exactly similar type of clutch but with a different lining. The same people could with advantage try this car.
