-2- Unless I could induce the engine to rev. over 2700 I should have no chance against such cars as the 30/98 Vauxhall, Lanchester or Hispano Suiza. The standard Lanchester with standard gearing stripped and streamlined for racing laps at 95. I am not out for record speeds and realise a Rolls is not built for them, but I think with just a little helpful information from Derby I could compete in a touring car race with every chance of success against any car made.
