Copy of letter received from:- BENTON & STONE LTD., Bracebridge Street, Birmingham. Ref.-CEM/MF. March 8th, 1923. Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Rd., Derby. Attention of Mr.Royce. Dear Sir, As promised we have pleasure in enclosing one special automatic feed connector nipple suitable for positions such as water circulating pump bearing and we understand your Mr.Hives would like to have one of these for test. The actual connector nipple in this fitting should be similar to the one submitted for test on your universal joints as the ordinary type of nipple is liable to leak back past the ball, we regret however that we have not another of these nipples made at present and have therefore had to fix our standard nipple, but it may however be suitable for test purposes. We also enclose a set of nipples for holding the No.3133 grease gun as supplied to your goodselves, and shall be pleased to supply these with future deliveries should you so require at no extra cost. Yours faithfully, BENTON & STONE LTD., (Sgd.) C. Eric Milner. Director. ENCLOSURE No 422 "JUSTSO" | ||
