Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited.

The number of times that a bellows may be stretched beyond its elastic limit is relatively small, and the length of life of these units would therefore appear to depend entirely on the frequency with which this movement takes place.

For your information when the bellows are compressed they have a life of roughly 5,000,000 movements when attached to a vibrator operating roughly 1750 times per minute. When the frequency of movement is decreased the life is considerably greater.

If there is any further information which we can give you please do not hesitate to ask us.

Yours truly,
THE PACKLESS GLAND CO. LTD.

W. Martin-Hurst.

Director.
