Lucas H.F. Horns.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 7th. inst., ref.X/LGT10 we note that these two horns have not the enclosed type socket terminals which we have standardized. We are therefore returning these horns to you under separate cover and trust that you will have the necessary modifications made and the horns redespatched to us with the minimum delay.

With reference to your letter of the 9th., inst., ref.X/LGT7 the undersigned has personally tightened the nuts by at least half a turn on the above two horns as received from you and we are assured by our assembly electricians that this is possible on the majority of Lucas H.F. horns.

We would say after investigation that the nuts which worked loose were not loosened at all here at our works.

In view of this we should appreciate your further attention in this matter.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
