We have tested WXA.2 car for maximum speed on the Salt Box straight, Uttoxeter Road, and attained 73 M.P.H. in one direction and 74 M.P.H. in the opposite direction. The speedometer has been checked and found O.K. actually 100% correct at 60 m.p.h.

Valve timing and ignition timing O.K. Lap speed of 25.G.VI at Brooklands was 74 M.P.H.
