To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c.c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c.c. to C. c.c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 17770 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG5.5.28. 17-EX CAR. Replying to BJ5/E4.5.28. You will see by our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG4.5.28. that we have agreed to hand over to you all the three sports car chassis which we made, for sale. As regards making 17-EX into a standard chassis. This will be difficult because the frame drilling is quite different to the standard owing to the fact that the engine is further forward and the cartdash is fitted. Also it has special pedals, steering, road springs, shock absorbers, petrol tank, spare wheel carrier, step irons, and also of course the special engine with turbulent head. We still therefore consider that the most economical procedure is to let 17-EX have the Jarvis body and to let 15-EX be re-built to any type Sales may desire. We are very anxious to get rid of 17-EX, therefore would like your instructions of what we are to do. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
