In any case, it is most important for us to know as soon as possible what is the definite view taken by yourself or Test Dept. as to the effect of high road speed on the lower geared axle. It would appear that if you have not sufficient data already to come to a decision on this point, we should be wise in carrying out further tests at Brooklands as soon as possible, in order to establish the position.
