Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x2917 E.4/HP.14.12.35. re Temporary Designs for obtaining information. In connection with any temporary modifications made purely for the purpose of obtaining information experimentally, there is a danger that such designs may get on to production through lapse of time and the original intention of the modification being lost. All such schemes in future should, therefore, be marked "Not suitable for production". These instructions should be circulated to all designers. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
