Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}12/N. Confidential. Messrs.Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: Short Wheelbase Bentley 1-B-5. We send you herewith a print of PD.31 shewing the design of the petrol tank filler in the near-side rear wing. In order that we may get a pre-view of the appearance of the filler in this position, we suggest that you rig up a standard Bentley filler placed as shewn, when you build up the mock-up of the complete car. You will see that the filler head is almost identically that of the standard Bentley. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Car Project Office. | ||
