TRIALS SEDANCA.

This is the car which I recently referred to as having the most satisfactory steering of any Rolls-Royce car I have ever driven, but I have not driven same in France.

I am most anxious to get the car into a more satisfactory state for demonstration work. As Ep.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} is aware we are waiting for him to select a really good gear-box. The present one seems to be getting worse. I cannot put up with it very much longer. The engine incidentally has always been on the too rough side. If the car came to the Works it would be wise to see whether the slipper-drive could be better adjusted for us. At the same time it would be important if you could fit a set of the plated springs because this car is under close observation all the time.

I find that we have no engagement made for this car for the week following Monday the 16th instant, therefore if you could arrange to take the car in that day and have the work referred to above attended to, it would be very helpful.
