X 4227. RE"KITE" ENGINE - INDUCTION PIPE FLANGES.

We send you herewith drawing No. LeC 1327 shewing the Carburetter and Induction Pipes with flanges for same on the "Kite" engine. As the carburetter as yet is entirely undecided this drawing gives you outside views only of the first scheme that has been drawn. The only information you have to work to from LeC 1327 concerns the induction pipe flanges, which will enable you to practically complete the loose head for the cylinder block. There will be connections for hot water and probably exhaust gas for heating the carburetter, but particulars of these will be sent later.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
