re 20/25HP - Diamond Engine Mounting - Torque Reaction Damper.

We have been strongly recommended by the Experimental Dept. to keep the loading on these as low as possible.

We find to do this that the spring which is instructed is too strong. We require a spring which will give us a loading of approximately 4 lbs. measured on the end of the longest arm of the damper as per Drawing E53049.

We find a spring which is very suitable for this job is piece No.E71111 Phantom II Fan Adjusting Spring.
