1326. To E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} c. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}21/KT.3.8.33. re. BENTLEY TOOLS. We are in agreement with you with regard to the hammer for tightening the Bentley wheel nuts. The copper hammer is too heavy and the Spencer Moulton rubber hammer too light. We think we should try and obtain a rubber mallet, similar to the Spencer Moulton, but made of slightly denser rubber and weighing half way between the copper hammer and the present rubber hammer, viz: 2 1/2 lbs. in weight. Will ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} please make enquiries and obtain suitable sample hammers on these lines. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
