X4652 Further to our EFC1/T7.6.26, we understand that the new ignition parts (oil excluding device) have not yet been fitted to Mr. Sidney's car. As we have not heard further in the matter we suppose that the platinum points are now going better. We have formed an impression that the rapid burning away of platinum points on a few of the Phantoms, due to the presence of oil, is more serious for the first few thousand miles than afterwards.
