SPECIALLOID PISTONS The writer would thank you for your promise to let us have drawings giving your piston dimensions so that we may submit suggested designs. Specialloid is a rigid piston oval and taper finished, and we are able to get down to very small clearances, at the same time keeping piston friction at a minimum. Hitherto we have concentrated our attentions on commercial vehicles, both Diesel and Petrol and would mention the following firms where the Specialloid Piston is either standardised or used on the majority of models. Leyland Motors Ltd., (Standardised on Diesels) Dormans Ltd., (Standardised) London Passenger Transport Board. (Standardised) Tangyes Ltd., Birmingham. A.E.C. London, etc. We have now extended our activities into the aircraft and car field and would mention that:- Messrs. Aston Martin. and Messrs.
