Re. Radio set on Mrs.Powell's Bentley Chassis.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to our recent correspondence on the subject of the above we have now had an opportunity of trying out the Philco Radio set which you have installed on Mrs. Powell's Bentley and we have come to the conclusion that a lot of the interference can be cured by the use of a different type of aerial. This aerial consists of a U shaped copper tube mounted beneath the running board and they are now marketed by several of the Radio Manufacturers. The particular one we tested being manufactured by Messrs.Philips Lamps, Ltd. With this aerial in position the majority of the interference disappears and we recommend that you fit a similar aerial to Mrs.Powell's Car to overcome the existing interference.

We wish to point out that as far as we can ascertain there are no other means of completely curing interference on this chassis, except by the use of this aerial.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
