E.A.C. V SERIES. SILVER GHOST T SERIES. EXPT AXLE WITH WIRE WHEELS V SERIES PIVOTS. NEW AXLE NEW PIVOTS C.2 SERIES. EXPT AXLE WITH DISC WHEELS V SERIES PIVOTS. Diagram annotations: 1) 6°, .616" 2) 5°, .354 3) VERT, 3.5" 4) 2.5°, 1.0" 5) VERT, CENTRE POINT AXLES IN ORDER OF HEAVINESS OF THE STEERING HEAVIEST ON THE LEFT. (1 & 2) THESE ARE VERY MUCH HEAVIER THAN THE OTHER THREE. (3) PRESUMABLY THIS ARRANGEMENT SUFFERS SOMEWHAT FROM 'CROSS-WINDING' OF THE PIVOT DUE TO LARGE AMOUNT OF OFF CENTRE. (4 & 5) THERE IS VERY LITTLE TO CHOSE BETWEEN THESE TWO AXLES FOR LIGHTNESS. POSSIBLY THE CENTRE POINT STEERING MAKES (5) THE VERTICAL PIVOT AXLE FEEL A LITTLE HEAVIER THAN IT OTHERWISE WOULD. | ||
