X4050 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG. 19th. June 1925. The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Development Supt. We are anxious to obtain some information as to the increase of effective tyre diameter with increasing speed. What we are concerned with is the increase in effective tyre diameter which is likely to take place at road speeds of 70 and 90 m.p.h. when the tyre is loaded with the normal weight of the car. The tyres with which we are dealing are the 33 X 5 straight-sided Dunlop cord. We should be very much obliged for any information you may be able to give us on this subject. Yours faithfully, | ||
