X.2894 - SAMPLE TUNGSTEN CONTACTS FOR MAGNETO CONTACT BREAKER.

Herewith please receive copy of my assistant's report on the trial of some sample tungsten contacts received from Messrs. G.G.Blackwell & Sons, Ltd., these having been run on a standard Watford E.6 magneto.

This is the best result we have had so far with tungsten contacts on magnetos, which are by no means equivalent to platinum.

Tungsten contacts attach.
