Response to a request to increase the inlet port area on a Large Bore Bentley Cylinder Head.

In regard to the request made by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} to increase the area of the inlet ports adjacent to the valve guide, we have looked into this and find it is not possible to cut back the guide bosses on EB.1562. On our original design of the head LeC.4538 there is ample area at this particular point, and we recommend that this shape should be embodied in the head which is being instructed. E/JNR.{Charles L.
