EXPERIMENTAL 'SS{S. Smith}' CRANKSHAFT BALANCE WEIGHTS. X7010 X1482

We send you herewith drawing LeC. 2616., shewing the above.

The idea is to make a test of an engine in which the whole of the rotating masses are balanced as far as possible. This means of course that we balance the big ends of the connecting rods.

LeC. 2616. is only intended as an experi-mental means of carrying out the test.

We should be glad if you could confirm the size of the balance weights for the purpose required.
