X4117. S/W (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}).... from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} H14/LH{Mr Haworth}11.12.29. 99-FH. - St's Inspection Trials car. I am concerned to learn from St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} that if you are successful in returning his car to him on Friday next, he will have been without it for practically a fortnight. During the whole of this time, he will have been unable, through lack of a car, to do his work properly and we have been unable to make any arrangements to supply him with any other car, simply because we had no idea that you wished to keep his car for more than an hour or two. You will recall that the original suggestion given to us was that you wished to try a radiator. It is too late to make any arrangements for another car for St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} at this stage, and I sincerely trust you will be able to redeliver his tomorrow. For any future experiments will you please let me know the maximum number of hours for which the car will be required to stay at the Works. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
