E.1/HP.25.11.37.

Wraith 27-G-6 - Brown Saloon.

I tried the Wraith for the first time last week-end but owing to weather conditions only for a short run to Nottingham and back.

I did, however, appreciate the improvement of this car over our standard 25/30 in general sweetness, silence, and softness.

The ride as might be expected is a definite improvement but unfortunately I could not try the rear seat.

The top/gear acceleration at moderate speeds is not thrilling but there is of course little to change this unless light coachwork can be fitted.

27-G-6 gives the impression of being heavy and its smoothness disguises the acceleration to some extent.

The gearbox changes like butter on all ratios.

The engine idles very sweetly.

Dropping into 3rd to take a right hand up hill bend in traffic the engine shakes the car more than the Oldsmobile but I imagine the mounting is not finalised yet.
